It is pure fun. We can watch the whole thing or only part and laugh.

It all began with a busted cocaine deal in Morrocco, where CIA agents wind up in front of a Senate Justice Committee hearing. Cooper (Dabney Coleman) has 24 hours to put the blame on his arch rival, played by Charles Durning. Tom Hanks plays an endearing violinist, Richard Drew, picked out of a crowd to be the fall guy to clear Cooper's rival. They use every trick in the book, including sending a man into the sewers of DC to get items they believe the fiddler has flushed. To make matters worse, Maddie (Lorrie Singer) falls for the eccentric Drew, because he is so simple in a world gone crazy with high tech spy gimmicks. One is an ambulance, loaded with electronic surveillance gear. They put a microphone in Drew's toilet, and at a stopsign, the flushing noise gets to a passing motorist, who looks beneath the ambulance for telltale sewage on the street. It never drags, and director Stan Dragoti keeps the fun moving with plenty of sex, laughs, and old fashioned fun. It is a madcap spy-versus-spy romp that anyone would greatly enjoy. Rated R:S/L
