    Wonderful, Wonderful

I never entered this page before thats why I'm writing my review just now, I discovered Mario Frangoulis on PBS one night like 3 or 4 years ago and I was cautivated by his voice and the music of his concert I went to the store the next day and bought the CD Sometimes I Dream, just last week I discovered that he has another CD Follow your Heart and I bought it and it is as beautiful as the first one I recommend both and I hope we can hear more from him, he has a wonderful voice.

    Stage veteran' s passionate presentation

I was drawn to the CD because of the beautiful music, and thought that was as good as a crossover singer could get. But how narrow-minded I was! He took the music to a whole new level when performing live! I was totally knocked down by the immense passion exuded from the powerful and nuanced performance. Thanks to the singer's extensive stage experience, he treated each song like a one-act play. You'll actually believe he is telling you his OWN stories, with that gorgeous voice. I feel as if I have to get somebody to pick me up from the floor every time after watching him sing 'E lucevan le stelle' (part of the title song). Yet with all the passion, he still performed perfectly gracefully and in sync with the fellow artists (a superb company) and the audience (an ecstatic one), no overstatement or megalomania at all. This concert is truly worth watching... time and again! Here's some facts about the DVD. It includes all songs from the CD except 'Conzone arrabiata'. The singer made a brief introduction to each of the songs in English. There's English subtitles to all the songs, too. The bonus features include a photo gallery, a biography, a short talk by the singer about his own career and the album, and finally descriptions of the songs in his own word.

    A Voice to be Heard

The video captures Mario at his very best. The audience obviously love his singing & the arrangements compliment his voice wonderfully. I was spellbound as I watched this young tenor sing. Let's hope it won't be too long before we are treated to another selection from this artist.
