    For sci-fi anime enthusiasts...

and not for the casual anime viewer. The stories within are complex and fascinating as can be. Magnetic Rose reminded me of something Ray Bradbury would've tried to write, the visions absolutely stunning. Stink Bomb was rather hilarious with it's clueless main character, the action crazy. Cannon Fodder was reminiscent of Orwell for sure, but an interesting 'day in the life' story that wouldn't/couldn't be written by many more than Otomo. As a sci-fi enthusiast, Ray Bradbury and dystopic/fantastic writers enthusiast, and general lover of Japanese animation, this was truly a treat for me to see. Especially since I had to wait 2 years after I saw the trailer to actually purchase it. It is definitely a tough trip to go through, and the stories do require attention to get you through them, but worth the try. I just wish there'd been an english-language option, but it was still enjoyable, and a welcome fit into my sci-fi marathon days.
