    I am a huge fan of the Merlin series. Collin Morgan (Merlin) is

    I am a huge fan of the Merlin series. Collin Morgan (Merlin) is a fantastic actor who delivers his lines with just the right amount of emotion, and acts with his face as well as his tone. His performance is awesome to behold, no matter which season of Merlin one is watching. That said, the fifth season of Merlin (which takes place several years after season 4) has many disappointments for me. Without giving away what happens, I have to say that the season starts weak (presenting more questions than answers) by throwing in unnecessary "twists" (if one can call them that) and never resolving them. While the premise of each epi. in this season is interesting, I feel the writers/producers fell short of expectations. And, despite Collin's stellar performance throughout, the other characters (specifically Gwen) lost their...well...character. Gwen became someone I didn't know, really. The BEST episode of the entire season was the series finale, BUT the finale also held the largest, most ridiculous disappointment. Fans around the world were upset (specifically by the last 10 seconds, or so, of the episode), confused, and had much to say/suggest. Please don't let my critique stop you from watching the show (like I said, I LOVE Merlin), but take my words as a friendly warning to not go into watching the season with any huge expectations or rose-colored glasses. Regardless of my complaints, the show is still remarkable, and I'm certainly going to purchase it.

    I've watched Merlin since the beginning, and yes, you will read

    I've watched Merlin since the beginning, and yes, you will read those reviews in which they say 

    The finale disappointed me.

    Well, the finale was an absolute tear-jerker, trust me I'm not exaggerating, I bawled my eyes out. But the entire series was amazing. It lead up to the finale fantastically. The characters were really shown through the season and I couldn't have asked for a better way to end it. Well, that's sort of a lie. I definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. The acting performances are ridiculously amazing and the script is beautiful. Please watch and buy, you own't be disappointed! I know I wasn't.

    ¿Merlin Season Five¿ definitely ends differently than I expected

    “Merlin Season Five” definitely ends differently than I expected. However, I can see why it ended the way it did in keeping with the series theme. The bonuses included on this dvd collection are the deleted scenes, outtakes, making of Merlin, and the storyboards (where different sketches of the Merlin scenes are displayed). “Merlin Season Five” is great for those who have watched any of the other Merlin Seasons and for those who enjoy watching fantasy themed television.
