Overview

Inspired by the novels of Caroline Graham, modern master of the English village mystery, Midsomer Murders combines quirky characters and surprising mysteries with postcard-perfect English village settings and the ever-charming John Nettles as the steady, unfailingly decent Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby. Jason Hughes also stars as his earnest, efficient protégé, Detective Sergeant Ben Jones. Guest stars include Daniel Casey, Samantha Bond, Donald Sinden, Malcolm Sinclair, Maggie Steed, and George Cole. The three mysteries in Set 15 are: "Blood Wedding," which finds Cully Barnaby’s wedding day fast approaching, but the father of the bride has become distracted by a series of bizarre murders at an upper-class wedding; "Shot at Dawn," in which a long-standing family feud erupts into violence after a disgraced soldier’s name is placed on a World War I memorial; and "Left for Dead," wherein Barnaby discovers a potential link between a double murder and a decades-old disappearance in the sleepy town of Dunstan. Bonus features include "Super Sleuths," a documentary about Midsomer Murders in which John Nettles, Caroline Graham, Anthony Horowitz, and others reflect on the show’s first decade, as well as production notes, a Cully Barnaby photo gallery, and a Caroline Graham biography.

Midsomer Murder is the very BEST!

Another great set of mysteries with Midsomer Murder Set 15. Each movie is better then the last. Wonderful english scenery. Each movie makes you feel like you are right there. John Nettles as Det. Tom Barnaby is beyond fantastic. He is as charasmatic as always. He just gets better and better.

This series is the very best of English murder mysteries! There are 52 different Midsomer Murder movies now made. The 3 movies in this set flow just as seemlessly as all the others. I haven't been disappointed in any of the Midsomer Murder movies. Any set you get will be wonderful. I have them all and they are great to go back and watch on a rainy afternoon. My son begs me to put one in when we have a movie night together. He's 19 and already a huge fan.

Try one Midsomer Murder movie and you'll be hooked, too. It doesn't get any better then this series.
