Midsomer is a delightful place to visit

We have seen all Midsomer Murder dvds. The scenery of countryside and local fairs alone are worth it. The tensions between the Inspector and his wife are fun to watch.
Inspector Barnaby's latest partner grows on you as the others did.
Sometimes I lose track of the plot but I enjoy it anyway.
Anyone who likes British detectives as much as I do will find this series entertainig.

    more from this reviewer

Still the best British mystery series.

As usual, another fine outing by Barnaby & Company. Each one of the mysteries in this series is a wonderful romp through the English countryside with a terrific cast of characters. It's very refreshing that the characters refrain from the usual string of four letter words found in American mysteries. It's very enjoyable to pop one of these enticing mystery's in the old DVD player and lose yourself in the story. I haven't been able to out guess Barnaby and Jones yet.
