Overview

As is usually the case with Woody Allen discs, fans expecting more than a quality image and soundtrack will be disappointed. The transfer is a widescreen 1.85:1 picture. Creative and Witty

Mighty Aprhodite (which makes sense with short interludes of '' Greek'' actors appearing in shots from an old Roman theatre) was one of the funniest movies I have seen. Mira Sorvino plays a great role as a prostitute who is rudely awakened by Woody Allen (who has her son by adoption and would like to know who the real mother is). Her voice is completely different from the norm, which adds to her great job as an actress. She won an Academy Award for this Role and since then has been playing a '' Funny'' Girl ever since.
