Joe Don Baker was working regularly after his sleeper success in WALKING TALL (1973). This 1975 drive-in effort isn't as bad as it would appear to be: You have old pros Martin Balsam, John Saxon and as a high class whore, Linda Evans (who Balsam gets to deliver a memorable line about). Standard violence and predictable story. For a throw away, it hangs with you.
