Cheesy, just the way you like it!

Having first seen ads for Monarch of the Moon in some of the comic books I often peruse, I was intrigued! The cover art struck me first, nostalgic with just a hint of Star Wars, brought my thoughts back to the Buster Crabbe serial days. After finding information about it online, I decided at once that, nearly sight unseen, it would be a worthwhile purchase, and it was. From start to finish, it was a wonderful, hilarious glimpse back into the golden days of broad shouldered heroes, clutchy dames, how-on-Earth-did-you-get-here spunky sidekick kids, implausible outfits and impossible cliffhangers. Definately created with tongue firmly planted in cheek, but not without a sense of style and excitement, this movie should certainly appeal to anyone who ever laughed over one of the old Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, or any of the other serials of yore and said "I could do that!" Enjoy either the black & white or BLAZING TECHNICOLOR version!
