    Surprisingly Good

    I bought this movie simply because it received good critic reviews, and was well priced. I'm glad that I did. While I find that some movies just don't hold my attention; Mongol yolked me in the first ten minutes, and really sustained a steady pace and quality throughout. The main character (Temudjin) stays true to character and never alters his ethics, or changes his approach to situations. These factors make him easy to believe as well as root for. Buy this film. THE LANDSCAPES ARE AMAZING.

    Visually Stunning

    This is a journey of great pain as a leader emerges to unify the mongol people as its Khan. Visually stunning. Epic story. Epic sets, battles, and wonderful characters. It is one of my favorite films of all time, not only because of its historical basis, but because of the superb character development and it is shot in such beautiful places.
