Wow. Simply wow. Monk is entertaining on so many levels. The mysteries are clever, yet exciting, the show has its' tears, yet it also brings on fresh laughs. This season IMO surpasses all the other seasons. There are so many memorable episodes that depart from even typical, lovable Monk fare. This seasons has its' firsts: a remix of the theme song (Snoop Dogg Style), Monk falling for the lifestyle of a suspiscious cult, the police squad being locked in a bank vault, and a stunning 2 part conclusion with Monk being accused of...murder. The season finale is amazing. Just when you think the writers can't top previous episodes, they have Monk do the unthinkable. They take advantage of all the tense moments to turn suspense into comedy. (Take a sip of the scene with Natalie's smoothie). Traylor Howard's character, Natalie, is very genuine and always standing by at midnight to help Monk. (Although even she can get fed up with him). Her daughter, Julie, becomes sucked up in a murder plot (Mr. Monk and the Three Julies) in an episode that leaves you on the edge of the seat and a shiver in your spine. Monk has to be seen to be experienced. Although some people dislike the quirky comedy, Season 6 is a great point to start and fall under Adrian Monk's spell. There are times when I wanted to hug him, punch him, and tell him &quot wow.&quot He proves that there really is &quot a jungle out there.&quot Come on. If you paid attention, you'd be worried too. Don't know what I'm talking about? Listen to the theme song!

I just love watching Monk and am sad it will be in it's final season but I can watch it anytime now. Season 6 is great just like all the rest.

Monk was my mother's favorite show. I bought her several seasons that she loved to watch. She passed away in November and the day after her funeral there was a Monk marathon on all day. At least she won't be upset that he's no longer on.
