The film's highlight, a riveting performance by Kevin Bacon, resonates as intensely on the small screen as it did in theaters.

Acting like I've never seen before!

There is no other actor who could have possibly done this exremely dramatic role the way Kevin Bacon did!! How did he not get the Academy Award for this one??!! He was so believable and so real, it just pulled on my heart. I rented and rented this movie until I just had to own it in my collection. Unbelievable!!!

    Powerful movie.

I don't know how Kevin Bacon didn't get an Oscar for his powerhouse performance in this film. He is so underrated that it's a shame. Christian Slater is also very good.

    Outstanding !!

I don't know how Kevin Bacon didn't get nominated for an Oscar for Murder in the First. I have never seen him better. Christian is also excellent. More attention should have been paid to this movie.
