It's always refreshing to find a cop show with unpredictable twists and turns. Murphy's Law fits the bill. Murphy's torment over his past decisions in Belfast nicely balances his good-cop ethics and morality, creating an interesting main character. The writers include a love-interest which doesn't add much -- and fortunately doesn't take away from the pithy plots and suspensful action. This is a good purchase for those who like cop dramas, but abhor predictability.
