A resourceful teenage super-sleuth finds her investigative skills put to the ultimate test as director Andrew Fleming and screenwriter Tiffany Paulsen revive the character originally made famous by author Carolyn Keene. Upon leaving her quaint hometown of River Heights and arriving in Los Angeles with her father, Carson (Tate Donovan), precocious small-town teen Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts) enrolls in Hollywood High and discovers just how different life on the West Coast really is. A true original in the land where Rodeo Drive dictates what's "in" at any given moment, Nancy stands apart from the pack as much for her penny loafers as for her sincere, non-acerbic attitude and keen study skills -- all of which make the non-ironic goody two-shoes an object of scorn for fashion-conscious mean girls Inga (Daniella Monet) and Trish (Kelly Vitz). Concerns about how to fit in soon take a back seat to more pressing issues, however, when Nancy, having previously promised her worried father that she would give up sleuthing, stumbles across a series of clues that may lead her to find out what caused the death of beautiful Hollywood movie star Dehlia Draycott -- who perished years ago under particularly mysterious circumstances. Upon discovering that she and her father are currently residing in the very same mansion that Draycott once called home, the prospect of solving one of Hollywood's biggest mysteries simply proves too tantalizing for the brilliant young detective to resist.

This is a great mysterie of a movie star at the peak of her carear she disappers. After two monthes she came back and threw a party and never came downstairs to greet her geust they found her..........
if you wnat to know watch the movie
A nice return for Nancy Drew. The acting wasn't the greatest but it was an entertaining family film. I grew up watching the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys TV series so I was excited to see a return of some kind of a Nancy Drew media. Emma Watson shows some promising acting skills and in a few years she might be really good. Here's to more Nancy Drew mysteries.
This movie was awesome! I admit some parts were sort of stupid, but the plot was amazing! It was so suspencful! A great movie for everyone!
I love Emma Roberts! She was stunning in this movie(As usual.) I loved how the plot was mysterious and suspensful without being too confusing like some mystery movies are. I don't really read Nancy Drew all that much. I've read a few here and there..(What girl hasn't?) But I can guarentee you, this movie will make you want to go read the books. x] Love you Emma. <3'
A great movie for kids and young adults. It is funny and will keep you entertained.
This movie is great. i would definitely buy it..and I have. It will make you move to the edge of your seat. It is also funny. And it is a great movie for the family. Emma Roberts does also a great job in the Movie. i would definitely recommend it for everyone. One to definitely get!
This was a great movie for both kids and their parents. My daughter had a group of friends over (all around age 10) and they all loved it. Great movie!
I love this movie so much!!!!!
Here's all you need to know: don't buy Nancy Drew! The acting is horrific, the plot is poorly written and undeveloped and a five-year old could make a better ending to the movie. The suspense and kid-friendly fun that Nancy Drew promises is non-existent and this film is not worth your money or your time.
