Excellent companion to Homer's Iliad and Odyssey!

The scientific, historical, and literary gurus are interesting but not "stuffy." The film is a great springboard for discussion after an in depth reading of Homer's works, particularly The Iliad. Iliad fans will enjoy the combination of intellectual discussion and speculation on what really may have happened during the period of history surrounding the time of the Trojan War. We enjoyed the insights of the experts, the Iliad re-enactments, and the on site filming.
