Overview

Join respected archeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass in exploring the mysteries of Seti's tomb and discovering just why the ancient Egyptians thought awaited us after death. In the days of the pharaohs, Egyptians believed that death was only the beginning of our remarkable cosmic journey and that resurrection with the sun was the highest level of consciousness one could achieve. The preparations they made for death were unprecedented; they had to be completely prepared for whatever dangers that awaited them in the afterworld, and even the slightest miscalculation could result in eternal death. In this documentary, Dr. Hawass risks his own life to venture deep beneath the surface of the earth and excavate the unusual tunnel discovered in the depths of Seti's tomb.
