The sophomore season of this JAG spin-off is even more satisfying than the first, largely due to nuanced scripts that add more weight to the principal characters, especially Special Agent Leroy Gibbs top-billed Mark Harmon. The individual episode plots remain suspenseful, but during this year the emphasis on character enhance them considerably. Joining the NCIS Naval Criminal Investigative Service team on a full-time basis is agent Tim McGee Sean Murray, a recurring character in Season 1. He makes his presence felt in the season opener, "See No Evil," an especially tense installment built around the kidnapping of a naval officer's wife and blind daughter. The 22 episodes of 2004-5 are consistently fine, but the final two get our vote for the year's very best. In "SWAK," agent Tony Dinozzo Michael Weatherly is felled by a potentially deadly virus contained in an envelope filled with a fine powder. As his health gradually fails, Gibbs and the other team members race against time to locate the sender. There's an even bigger emotional jolt in the season finale, "Twilight," which finds recurring villain Ari Haswari Rudolf Martin plotting with other terrorists to kill Gibbs -- only to catch another agent in the crosshairs. If you're a fan of NCIS, this season represents the apex of the series. We recommend it highly.

    A Great T.V. Series to Watch

    I loved this T.V. Show and would recommend it to anyone who likes to watch anything that has to do with the Government (In a fictional capacity of course). I absolutely love the Character Abby played by Pauley Perrette. She is just so awesome in the way she can multitask all the forensic elements in one lab and not need anyone to help her.

    So far I have the first three seasons. I hope to have all of them soon.
    I can hardly wait till the next season comes out on DVD.

    Enjoyed this season as much as the first season, very good show.

    After my husband introduced me to NCIS with the NCIS - The Complete First Season DVD set, it seemed logical to get the second season. I was pleased that the quality of the show continued in the second season. Anyone that likes a good mystery-solving show will like this one. The characters develop as the episodes progress, and are all worth watching. But be warned, it's habit forming and leads to the desire to get the next season!

    A TV Series that I love and watch/record every episode

    Some of the resons I like series is because I like these and other series (CSI) like it. This one is a very different in that it's related to the military. NCIS also delve into the individuals characters and their personalities (as well as the different areas that each is the expert in).

    Keeping up the excellence tradition

    NCIS Season 2 is an excellent sophmore season for this fine show. The cast chemistry and well-written story lines make for an awesome show.

    excellent series

    This is an excellent thought provoking series that the whole family enjoys. Being a scientist helps me enjoy the forensic part of the episode but the key is the interpersonal relationships that are fun and enjoyable.

    NCIS - season 5

    NCIS is still going strong & the best tv show there is right now ! Season 5 was very good with alot of different scenes of all sorts. Just keeps on getting better.

    AWESOME - NCIS
