    Barnes & Noble lies

*Attention* This is in no way related to the Ninja Scroll series and the above item description is ''FALSE ADVERTISING''. The character from 'Ninja Scroll' is Jubei Himogabi and whomever listed this item on the website should be FIRED for 'false advertising' and listing lies to the consumers to sell an item. This product will sell itself with the corrrect description, no need to bank on Ninja Scroll's success to sell your DVD. The movie rocks and is a series of it's own, again having nothing to do with the Ninja Scroll movie.

    The truth

From what I've heard, this is NOT a sequel to Ninja Scroll. In fact, the only thing that is the same between Ninja Scroll and Ninja Resurrection is that the lead character carries the same name. It was a marketing mistake by the US production company that brought the anime over to the US.

    This is no Ninja Scroll

I rented this movie thinking that it would continue in the way that Ninja Scroll did, and was disappointed to say the least. In my opinion, it wasn't even worth renting, let alone buying. But if you are still interested, rent it before you buy it to make sure it is worth 20 some bucks...
