I got this movie a while ago and i thought it was pretty good, i mean, yes, i've seen better but this is FAR from a terrible movie. yeah, the story line's a little skechy and not close-knit but i still enjoyed it.

If you're interested in a movie that actually goes somewhere, then pass on this. There's not much here. It's merely a romp for the CAST of Oceans 11 who got back together to do a sequel, but didn't spend too much time worrying about the result. They play pranks on themselves, laugh, and goof off, while a series of nonsensical scenes are strung together around a not-too-logical heist- all to pay back the guy whose money they stole in the first movie (?). The director apparently didn't care too much about the product either and let the gang do pretty much anything they wanted on set. The dialogue sounds like it as well. There is, however, one item worth noting, an irony of sorts: it's Julia Roberts playing herself. Now I usually argue that Roberts is incapable of playing anything other than variations of herself, but this time she actually does just that- she plays herself! It's another one of the gags the cast obviously enjoyed pulling, but I wonder if she realizes how much the joke is on her. The European locations give this flick a little essence, but that's about it. It's essentially a feast for the stargazer (add Catherine Zeta-Jones and Bruce Willis to the rest) but no more. So, unless you just want to see the Hollywood celebrities giggle at themselves, like I said: skip it.

You know how they say that sequals are never as good as the original? In some cases, that's not true. Unfortunatley, it is in the case of Ocean's Twelve. In all fairness, I probably wouldn't be so critical if Eleven hadn't been so darn outstanding. The acting in Twelve isn't bad at all- actually, the actors are so casual in some scenes that it feels more like a conversation than a script. However, the plot brings the entire movie crashing down. There are so many gaps and holes in the storyline that it isn't really a storyline at all. I pride myself as being one who can pick up on plots right away, but this one stumped me. Also, there are several 'inside' jokes that are never explained. For example, Danny Ocean repeatedly refers to someone breaking "Rule #1." And what exactly IS this Rule #1? The world may never know... However, the music is great, and the cast is fantasic. There are some scenes in this movie that are fun, even if not fully understandable- I loved the part when the mysterious thief known as the Night Fox literally dances his way through a complex and unpredictable labyrinth of lasers. Another great scene is when George Clooney, proudly sporting his New York Yankees hat, engages in an all-out brawl with someone wearing a Boston RedSox cap. :)

It was a little light on the storyline and Julia Roberts could have looked better, but I loved it! The scenery was spectacular! No wonder George Clooney loves Laglio!

I loved the first (remake) of this movie and was so thrilled to hear there would be a sequel with the original cast. Unfortunately instead of developing a tight script, the filmakers opted to have no script at all - the actors seem to be making it up as they go along. While they all appear to be having fun, this is one in-joke after another. When Julie Roberts plays herself and Bruce Willis shows up the film becomes so incredibly stupid and it becomes clear this film is just for them (actors/ makers) and not for the audience. That said, the introduction of Catherine Zeta- Jones (who normally I do not like) is refreshing.

Very disappointing. Oceans 11 was everything this movie was not. At least the actors seemed like they were having fun, because the plot made no sense, the editing was too chaotic in places, and the overall tone was sloppy. All in all, very disappointing.

Sorry, but I just couldn't get into the groove with this sequel. Too many stars spoil the broth and make dead-end sequels.

Too seriously! How many sequels have you seen to realize that the original is still and always will be better.? The only reason I gave it one star is because they put no extras. You can't be pulling that type of sh!t anymore. People spend the extra money so they can see the extra stuff. Whats the point of wasting technology like that?

The moive makes absolutely no sense. A slap in the face to the original production. This one is a group of arrogant actors laughing at the public that spends money on this movie. Run from this movie, buy something else.

With the all star cast coming back into the characters of Ocean's 11, the story is blown on a larger scale- Europe. There's another job, and more characters. Rusty (B. Pitt) has a love interest (C. Zeta Jones); Linus (M. Damon) has a more leadership role, Tess (J. Roberts) also has a hilarious bit. A little more difficult to follow (as intended by Soderburgh for plot reasons), but just as funny or even funnier than the first. Great music again by David Holmes. Very great movie.
