This box set combines four operatic productions (one by Georges Bizet and three by Giuseppe Verdi), each one mounted at the open-air venue of St. Margarethen, a First Century Roman quarry in Eastern Austria. The package begins with a version of Carmen starring Nadia Krasteva, Violetta Kowal, Sebastian Holecek, Stephanie Atanasow, featuring musical accompaniment by the Chorus and Orchestra of the National Theatre Brno, and directed for the stage by Gianfranco De Bosio. Next on the list is a production of Aida starring Kostadin Andreev, Janusz Monarcha, Cornelia Helfricht and Igor Morosow, also with musical accompaniment by the Chorus and Orchestra of the National Theatre Brno. The third production, La Traviata by Verdi, stars Kristiane Kaiser, Jean-François Borras, Ladislav Hallon, Georg Tichy and others; it was directed for the stage by Robert Herzl and features accompaniment by the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus. Finally, the production of Verdi's Nabucco seen here stars Igor Morosow, Bruno Ribeiro, Elisabeth Kulman and others, and was directed for the stage by Robert Herzl; it features musical accompaniment by the Ahad State Philharmonic Chorus and the Eurosymphony Orchestra.
