Todd Josh Hamilton is facing unemployment, but in the meantime he has accepted a temporary job to travel to India and ensure the company's transition is a smooth one. Though at first nonplussed by his unfamiliar new surroundings, Todd is subsequently disarmed by the friendliness of his likeable replacement, Puro Asif Basra, and charmed by co-worker Asha's Ayesha Dharker offer to better familiarize the newcomer with the people and customs of India. As Todd begins to sow the seeds of productivity among his amiable new employees and gains the ability to look past their cultural differences, an overnight business trip that lands Todd and Asha together at a Kamasutra Hotel threatens to complicate the endeavor in ways that the outsourced American never anticipated.

    Great Movie - Must watch

This is a fantastic movie. I couldnt help laughing at most of the scenes. It is based on the directors first hand experiences in Nepal and India. The incidents are original and not concocted or over dramatised. The differences in cultures and the experiences of both Todd and the Indian counterparts,The funny and puzzling experiences on both sides are amazing. The director has caught the exact mood and feelings in a light hearted way.Josh Hamilton,Ayesha Dharker and Asif are superb in their acts.It makes you fall off with laughter at times. This movie is a must see for everyone and especially for people who wish to visit India. Being an Indian I could relate to this movie completely,I do not know how it is recieved by my American friends, but judging from the awards and great review by New York Times, this is one movie one should not miss. I actually bought it to gift it to friends. It tells you about India without lecturing about the spirituality and boasting about its greatness. It has just the right mix of both Indian and American Flavour -unadulterated!

    Beautiful, sweet and funny

I LOVED this movie! Lots of amusing cultural differences, beautiful photography, the soundtrack is a fusion of classic Indian and kind of American rock. Plus a sweet romance. Made me long for warm climate, bright colors and chickpeas and dahl.
