Overview

Philip Noyce's adaptation of Tom Clancy's Patriot Games comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, and a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround as well. Spanish subtitles are accessible and both English soundtracks are closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a theatrical trailer. This is a solid, but unspectacular release from Paramount.
