Permanent Record

( 2 )

Overview

Marisa Silver directs Keanu Reeves in one of his early films, Permanent Record. The drama about a high-school suicide comes to DVD in a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, but the inexpensive list price for this Paramount release mitigates that fact.

    Sad Movie

This was well thought out movie, and planned excellently like Keanu would have put it. I was wondering why I can't find the movie soundtrack that was partially written by Legendary songwriter and producer, and founding member of The Eagles - Mr. J.D. Souther

    Genuine, Serious, Just plain Fantastic

The best movie Keanu Reeves pre-Speed. Most emotions were portrayed very realistically and the truth to the movie is what is the most shocking of it all. Parents, friends and siblings might not understand it....and in truth no one really will unless there was some evidence to teen suicide but it is out there and people have to be informed. A great movie to watch in a psychology class or just with friends, and definitely some tear jerker parts.
