Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble
Fans will undoubtedly celebrate David Suchet's return as Agatha Christie's indomitable sleuth Hercule Poirot in this latest feature-length mystery. On vacation in Iraq, Poirot visits an ancient site that his good friend Captain Hastings is helping to excavate. But relaxation soon turns sour for the detective when the head archaeologist's unpopular wife is murdered. Clues are few and far between, suspects are plentiful, and this time the mystery is a puzzle possibly to much for even Poirot.

    GREAT FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

Mr. Poirot in another great film that is excellent entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. I am a big fan of David Suchet's and he is magnificent as Mr. Poirot in the Agatha Christie mysteries. Murder in Mesopotamia is delightful because it has a number of very good actors and the scenery is outstanding. The story never falters and it keeps you guessing all the way to the end. I throughly recommend the purchase of any of the movies in which Mr. Suchet stars as Mr. Poirot and I can guarantee you won't be at all disappointed.

    remarkable

no one suspects the one responsible for the murder. first you belive it to be a certain character, then it possibly leads to maybe someone else, then when the real one is exposed, you can't belive it...i love how the movie shows how the background of the character is exposed to lead to the plot and motive...
