In the teenager's longing and fierce independence, the aging cop sees something of her younger self. Tennison emerges as a deeply flawed but ultimately sympathetic human being -- one who accepts responsibility for her choices, knowing full well the price she and others have paid. The Final Act serves as the perfectly fitting conclusion to what some critics have called the best crime series ever televised.     Love! this series - British just do it better when it comes to crime mysteries

    I am an NYPD and murder mystery fan that does a lot of multi-tasking while watching shows, but these catch your attention completely. Just the best acting and stories.

    Prime Viewing Entertainment

    This is an excellent series of crime dramas starring the irreplaceable Hellen Mirren as the troubled but talented police inspector who solves a number of complex cases. The acting, directing, and writing are all first-rate.
