Editorial Reviews

All Movie Guide - Jeremy Wheeler
Good old Billy Ray Cyrus hasn't starred in too many movies, but thankfully, the world will always have Radical Jack! Like a poor man's Road House, Billy Ray slugs it out with hordes of redneck thugs and dishes out the lovin' to the town's number one bad girl. Of course, his mullet is sublime in each shot, as is his slow, Southern drawl. For the supporting cast, you have none other than George "Buck" Flower, here showing his range outside of John Carpenter films as he chews up scenery left and right. While the flick is straight ahead B-movie trouble, the funny thing is that you can't help but root for Jack as he takes down the town baddies and drives off into the sunset in his Jeep. It's all pretty predictable, but there's enough gratuitous brawling and dreadful acting that you won't be able to walk away from Radical Jack even if you wanted to.

Kurt Russell with a country twist

This movie will please any action fan, and any drama fan. The movie is heavy laden with dramatic fights and content. The best description I could say was that this would be the definitive of a Kurt Russell role, and Billy Ray Cyrus steps up to the plate and hits a Grand Slam. He will leave you in awe! This is not the same man seen weekly on the tv series DOC. This boy can kick your butt!
