Leon and Claire Survive the Zombie Apocalypse...Again!

This fast-paced CG rendention of the wonderfully horrific "Resident Evil" franchise sooths my soul after the series became "extinct" as a result of the last movie. In "Degeneration," like in the previous video games, Leon and Claire team up to play pin the tail on the zombie. The movie has a perfect harmony of bloody horror, action, and even some romance. It is also part of the official canon of the video games. Now go and buy it so that the powers that be will make another!

    Pretty Intense!

I borrowed this movie from my sister and brother in law, and I really liked it. I saw all the live action movies & liked them well enough, but as one other reviewer mentioned, the first movie was the only one with the true feel of the actual games. I have not played through all the games, but I do know a little bit about the storyline of most, and I have at least dabbled in most of the games, and from what I could tell, Regeneration definitely spawns off the storyline of some of the games. Leon is a badass, and Clair Redfield is pretty awesome herself. The G-virus monster was pretty crazy, and the battle with it was pretty intesne. The CGI was done very well too. Overall, if you like the Resident Evil franchise or just like a good horror action/zombie flick, this is a pretty good movie. Check it out!

    Movie for the Fans

I love a good scary movie, and I'm not opposed to CGI movies, some movies seem to be better when digitally rendered. Degeneration is the only movie since the first Resident Evil to have the same feeling and charisma as the games, yet I feel that it will not appeal to the average Hollywood movie fan, that¿s all RE 2 and 3 really were (Hollywood formula) and they fell short, even if they show Milla naked. Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield are the best characters to be created by the RE team and they kick some a$$ in this one. The G virus monster was great too. Can¿t wait for the RE 5.
