Excellent set of Sherlock Holmes movies!

This set of DVD's is especially good for me, because as a Sherlock Holmes fan, the setting, story line, acting, and drama is top notch.
The victorian England setting is particularily good. I like the period architecture and the use of horse drawn vehices. Especially the Hanson cabs, which appear quite often.
Each story was well made to keep your complete attention, and each was a fine addition to my collection of Sherlock Holmes movies.
Over all this was a good buy for me.

    Another excellent viewing investment!

I recently purchased the Adventures and the Return of Sherlock Holmes only to be thoroughly pleased. I want to state that I enjoyed all of these stories but if I had to choose a few to highly recommend on this dvd, it would be the Second Stain, Six Napoleons, and the Musgrave Ritual. As always, Brett is superb, and Hardwick is endearing as Watson.
