I actually think that this movie is much better then the series. I definitely recommend it! Anthy looks wonderful with her hair down, and she's more aggressive- not as passive as in the series. Also Utena is more tomboy-ish. :" Her outfit rocks!!! PS the dance scene is one of the best scenes in the movie!

If you watch the series you no doubt have a few already of Utena and you'll most likely be able to understand some of what is going on in the movie, but whats beautiful about the movie is its incredible animation and scenery, but most importabtly its indepth symbolism, there is a meaning to every action and every word that is said, any person who watches the movie close enough will enter a world of true reality then what offered by the modern world

I am a devoted lover of Revolutionary Girl, and this is complete, utter, loathesome poo! The characters have been destroyed, and are now ugly. Jury does not have hair like that, and Anthy is just...eww...Utena is the only character that looks decent, but I'd rather her have hair...Anyway, this movie doesn't follow any line from anything, and just goes off into the abyss, bringing all the joy with it.
