Robin of Sherwood - The complete Collection

I loved this series in the 1980s, and I still love it! I was so glad it was out in DVD. I am just sorry it ended so soon!

The Hooded Man haunts Sherwood. Herne's son has claimed his kingdom!

Perhaps the single best incarnation of Robin Hood I have ever seen. The mystical aspect is an awesome addition to the legend that combines very well the series more realistic and grittier portrayl of medevial times. The show has a great cast, direction, and music. There is a casting change for Robin during the last season but this is organically written into the series via Robin of Loxley's own story ending and Robert of Huntington being chosen to assume the mantle of the Hooded Man. Both names can be found in actual Robin Hood folklore dating all the way back to the Howard Pyle stories.
