Andrzej Bartkowiak's Jet Li-starring, kung-fu-meets-Romeo & Juliet action
omance Romeo Must Die comes to DVD in a fairly complete presentation. A widescreen, anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio, behind-the-scenes footage, and two music videos from the film's co-star Aaliyah -- "Try Again" and "Come Back in One Piece" -- are examples of the disc's diverse extras. The movie's high-flying martial arts and special effects are given their due in the "making-of" documentary, which covers the choreography of the fights and stunts, the development of the visual effects, and the shooting techniques used to deliver the film's unique brand of action. Filmographies of selected cast and crew members, two theatrical trailers, a "making of" special for Aaliyah's "Try Again" video, web access, and an interactive martial arts game round out the disc. Though it may not go into enough depth for hardcore kung-fu film fans, the DVD does provide entertaining extras along with one of 2000's most surprisingly successful films.

One of the best Jet Li movies ever. Action and Comedy are always a good mix.
This was an excellent film fllled with exciting fight sequences and murder mystery on crimes commited against the black and Chinese gangs. It had a surprise ending on who really committed the murders and the reasons why. Jet Li was great and funny and he played the good guy in the movie (not like Lethal Weapon 4 where he played the bad guy).
I like the scene in Romeo must die the part about Jet playing football what was funny to me was when he told Isaiah Washington ''I like hop 3''. Also the part when he told Aaliyah ''I want the yellow one'' ( meaning ice cream).
Jet Li Was so Good On The part when he kicked. And I liked The Part, When He Played Foot Ball. Thats Why I Should Give It 5 stars!
you look and watch the action that shows you how you can love and hate
worth watching, but the final kick of Jet's seems a little fake.
Has my favorite actress EVER in it and has a great plot and humor and action. RIP Aaliyah 1979-2001
i loved this movie because it was really good and jet li is just amazing actor/martial artist and aaliyah is a beatiful/sexy and very talented this to be her first role she was just great! 5stars-increditable r.i.p aaliyah
