Editorial Reviews

All Movie Guide
When was the last time you saw stiff-legged zombies fighting screaming humans with heavy machinery? There's an authentic sense of B-movie whimsy amid the gruesome horror that doesn't rob the macabre monsters of their menace (think Tremors), and the witty one-liners heighten rather than dilute the action. The abundant action sequences are shot high-speed, à la Gladiator's leaping tiger sequence, a technique that works very well in the arid desert setting, and the editing for the whole shebang is appropriately blisteringly fast. Lou Diamond Phillips, Lori Petty, and the rest of the cast, including sci-fi favorite L.Q. Jones (A Boy and His Dog), sink their teeth into this slick production and raise it several notches above expectations. Horror and action fans should pass the word to others that Route 666 is a fun little romp worth a look.

Route 666 will scary you out of your set

It is not often that a scary movie doesn't not come out cheesy. No cheesy business here. I would recommend Route 666 to any horror film fanatic.

    ROUTE 666

This movie is the best. I only saw part of it on Scifi. but the part I saw was great. There's these twists and turns that you wouldn't expect. And the action is just enough to blow you away. If anyone think about buying this, do so. I know that many people think that other movies have more action, but I'm telling you, you'll love this movie. It placed in a desert where these ranger marshall people have to bring a convict to a hearing. So they decide to take a short cut, Route 666. They find these people that come from the ground. They are trapped and they can't go anywhere. What happens to them? I can't tell you, you have to watch the movie to find out. But, I am not lying, this is thee best movie ever!!!!!!!
