Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Donald Liebenson
The Rugrats gang are all on board the Biendeltown Express! But will the trip prove disastrous? Their grandparents' second honeymoon is almost derailed by a notorious train robber who makes off with Chuckie's Wawa (teddy bear) and Minka's necklace. Luckily, it's elementary, as intrepid toddler Tommy vows to solve this mystery if "it's the lastest thing I never do." In "The Fun Way Day," the Rugrats get the best of a feng shui expert hired by Chas and Kira to stimulate business in their struggling coffee café. In "Trading Phil," Angelica curries favor with two four-year-olds who want a real baby to play with, by offering them Phil. In return, she makes the babies an offer they can't "re-use": She will be nice to them forever! As these playful cartoons illustrate, Nickelodeon's flagship franchise shows no signs of aging.
