Given that Hallmark Channel programming is generally family-friendly (don't get me wrong, that's a good thing)....but I was disheartened to find that the DVD version is *significantly* shorter than the version you can watch via cable or satellite. I fail to see exactly what could have been SO objectionable that a whole half hour is just gone from the DVD. This is still a great movie, and I only regret having paid so much for a movie that is essentially heavily altered from the original movie. While I am disappointed to think that there exists a group that could be offended by this movie, I would not object at all, had the DVD offered the choice to watch the full 2-hour movie. To sum it up, excellent movie, horrible DVD. Hallmark movies are for families, and shouldn't need editing that amounts to butchering. Original movie: 5 Stars DVD Version: 3 Stars
