Terrific distillation of dome of John's iconic moments.

I love this DVD. It helps that I saw and loved SNL during his time and so I know the context. But really, Samurai delicatessen is a study in comedic timing and the unexpected. How can a person think of such an odd combination and juxtaposition and then pull it off on a live show? To have a comedian who makes his living by talking, not say a single English word... inspiring.

    Dissappointing as well...

Again, this was a big dissappointment. My family and I just didn't see what was suppose to be so funny. We love SNL and there had to be much better stuff they/who ever could have chosen to put on these. Another waste of money.
