A series of three-minute animated shorts with infectious music, witty lyrics, and colorful animation, Schoolhouse Rock! aired amid ABC's Saturday morning block of kids' programming, and the productions were designed to teach the basic principles of grammar, arithmetic, history, science, government, computers, and money management. Compiled for DVD in 2008, The Election Collection aims to introduce youngsters to essential civics while charming oldsters who may not have seen these little gems in decades.
