    Ruh Roh!

Everyone in our family enjoyed this feature from Cartoon Network. It was fun to see the "Secret Origin" of a childhood favorite while my eight year old son stopped laughing just long enough to breathe and have some popcorn.

I hope that there will be another feature with this cast. They were excellent choices, especially Shaggy and Velma.

    I Also Recommend:

    Remembering your inner child

Scooby-Doo: The Mystery Begins is an instant classic! I have always wondered how the gang became friends, and this movie puts it all in perspective. The fact that they are all complete opposites and find that one thing in each other, that one thing you can always find in your true friends. Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma all get their true colours brought out when they put it all on the line to save their pal Scooby.
When I first watched this movie, I couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole film. Thinking back to the animated series of how big of chickens that Shag and Scoob are, seeing it brought to life by the two was something I will never forget. The jealousy towards Daphne from Velma is priceless, and how she just assumes Freddy only likes her for her looks. Although this isn't brought up in the animated series, it generally gets you thinking if there were secret episodes that left all of that out.
This new movie is something I would recommend for anyone who loves to feel like a kid again, also those who will never forget the first time they watched Scooby-Doo on TV.
