Two deluxe DVDs featuring wrestler turned screen sensation the Rock are brought together in this special twin-pack. The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King have both been transferred to disc in their original widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1 with the images enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. Each movie features both their original English language soundtracks and alternate, dubbed French versions, all mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1. Both films are closed-captioned in English, while The Scorpion King also has optional Spanish subtitles. Both discs also include a wealth of bonus materials. The Mummy Returns' features include an audio commentary track, an interview with the Rock, a short documentary on the making of the film, several deleted scenes, a look at the creation of the film's special effects, a primer on Egyptian history, the film's original theatrical trailer, a music video by the group Live, and additional material accessible on computers equipped with DVD-ROM drives, including a preview of The Mummy Returns video game.
