Editorial Reviews

All Movie Guide - Jason Clark
A sequel to the 1996 smash that both parodied and reiterated the slasher pic genre, reuniting much of the original film's cast and its writer and director, respectively, Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven. In witty fashion, the movie comments on horror sequels while being one, but what sets this apart from most sequels of any classification is its uncommon attention to character. The principals in this film seem even more fleshed out, even compassionate, giving the film some much-needed class to offset the standard slice-and-dice conventions. Longer and less exciting than its predecessor, but filled with a lot of the cheeky humor that made the original so much fun. Reportedly, the screenplay was written on special paper so that duplication of it was not possible, responding to the various internet leaks that marred films like it in its release year.

    I Also Recommend:

    Pretty good

Sidney's now in college after her crazy ordeal in the first movie. Also returning are characters Randy, awesome character, Gale and Dewey. There's been another killing and of course there's the recognizable costume. Kind of guessed the twist at the end. While it's not better than the first, I thought it was pretty good and has some tense moments.

    TWICE THE FRIGHT!!

As student bodies begin dropping around Windsor College, a mature Sidney Prescott and everyone close to her are being pursued by a serial killer. Not knowing who will drop down next, Sid teams up with Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley to put an end to this horror and mayhem. This film was full of action which will keep you hanging on the edge of your seat. Watch the film carefully and see if you can guess who the kiler is going to be, using the rules from the previous film; you might be totally surprised. I really enjoed this film, and I have continued to watch it ever since I bought it. Unlike some other horror films, you will watch this one again and again due to the mix of thrills and chills. Absolutely frightening!! Advice: Watch it late at night for full fear effect.

This movie is the Scream of Screams!

What a movie! I could not believe the performance of Neve Campbell. Sidney(Neve) is finally getting over the murders in Woodsboro until...the premire of Stab: the true story movie of the Woodsboro murders. Sidney, along with the rest of the cast is running from the killer, for the second time. SPECIAL NOTE: Neve Campbell WON Best Female Performance at the 1998 MTV Movie Awards.
