This is without a doubt the best Scrooge presentation available. B/W

In my opinion, there isn't any better way to begin the holiday season than to review the black and white version of Scrooge. Sir Seymour Hicks and Donald Calthrop draw you in and make you feel a part of the story. The non-colourized DVD, gives a chill to the all ready cold and bleak story line. Later versions are not quite as good as the authentic 1935 movie. It's only 59 min. in length and a great reminder to all as to just how fortunate we all are...for the most part.

    Humbug
