Overview

A frustrated New York actor whose sick of being typecast due to his Italian-American heritage sets out to seek help from the one actor who could provide his big break in a satirical showbiz comedy starring William DeMeo, Carmen Electra, Sandra Bernhard, and Tyson Beckford. Johnny Argano is Brooklyn born and bred. Though he's confident that he has the skills to make a name for himself on the big screen, he resents the fact that casting directors only seem to select him for stereotypical roles. In Johnny's eyes, the only way to break the vicious cycle of typecasting is to get the attention of his screen idol Robert De Niro, and in order to make that happen Johnny will have to pen a screenplay that truly stands apart from the pack. With his career on the line and nothing left to lose, the frustrated actor gathers together a dedicated team of die-hard filmmakers to raise the money they need to get their film made, and convince the star of Taxi Driver and Raging Bull to accept a starring role in the movie that will make them all famous.

    SERIOUSLY BAD

This is definitely one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life. I know Carmen Electra isn't the greatest actress, but she can be in WAY better movie than this based solely on her looks. Willie DeMeo thinks he is this big shot and he has so much talent when in all reality all he is a "WANNABE" actor. People say he is "young and talented" - PUUUUUUUHHHHHHLEEEAAASSEEE!!! He is NOT as young as he would like most to believe. He is in his mid-forties, which is not old either, but he is not in his early 30's like he claims. I guess he hides his age well with all those Rogaine Spray bottles in his medicine cabinet! The funniest thing is he thinks he can "lure" young girls in by telling them he can help make them famous -C'mon buddy, give it a break! Your acting is SO bad people don't believe ANYTHING that comes out of your mouth. You are BELOW a D-List Actor and honestly unless a casting director is deaf and blind that is where you will remain. He is a sleeze with NO talent at all. I wouldn't pay 7 cents for this movie. That's why he only had roles in 8 Sopranos shows, if he was so great that show should have given him great exposure. I love how he says, "I'm Willie DeMeo from the Sopranos" - NOBODY knows who you are- NOBODY! Don't quit your day job Willie selling credit card machines or whatever it is you do!
