Action, drama and even some suspense keep this movie moving. Brad Pitt's best work. Very nice portrayal of Tibetan Buddhism and accurate rendering of history is to be commended. Visually stunning cinematography.A pleasure to see more than once.

Beautiful. sad. compassionate. humbling. Seven Years is all these compromised into a breathtaking whole. shot on location and starring Brad pitt as the arrogant Henirich herrer, a man for whom the sky is indeed the limit, is captured and begins his journey as man trying to find his place in the world. After many years of searching, he finds salvation and purpose in the form of Tibet and a young teenager, Namely the Dalai Lama. It is a moving story of two people from very different worlds forging a friendship that teaches with every day in each others prescence. Overall, Brad Pitt, Hollywoods pretty boy, gives an oscar worthy performance that is brave and moving.

I love watching this movie again. It may appear slow for those of you looking for physical action. Yet what draws me to this movie is the spiritual lessons learned by the characters and how an unexpected detour in life can bring to us what we need to experience most to live a fulfilling and peaceful life.
