For the first two seasons of the series, the episodes have been transferred to disc in their original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the English-language soundtracks have been mastered in Dolby Digital surround. An alternate Spanish language track in Dolby Digital Mono is also available, and the episodes have been subtitled in French and English (with closed captioning in English). The third season episodes are also presented in full-frame, but along with the English audio in Dolby Digital Surround and Spanish tracks in Dolby Digital Mono, a second set of alternate tracks is included, with French dubbing in Dolby Digital Surround. Episodes are also subtitled in English and Spanish. Also, four episodes feature commentary tracks with producer Michael Patrick King, as well as episode previews and biographies of key cast and crew members. Finally, the season four episodes, also transferred in full-frame, feature just the English and Spanish audio tracks, with English and French subtitles; three episodes feature commentary from King, and the episode previews and biographies are also included. In short, an excellent set for any fan of the show.

    Sadness it's Strength & Intelligence

    While SITC is my own personal reason for NOT dating any longer (I despise the whole dating as used car shopping culture that currently holds sway anyhow.)-It's chilling situations, subsequent clever intelligent comebacks, and Carrie's thoughtful and orig. voiceovers are something: Strong and disciplined b/c they really look at these admittedly & puzzlingly unnecessary absurd and cold situations with true originality and thoughtfulness. It's b/c this is so painfully familiar to my generation-more so to this quartet-that the viewer is shown new territory and enjoying something special. Yes the situations are demeaning-to both men and women-and why the fab four keep returning to said situations is beyond my own healthy tolerance. All this is an obvious given to the viewer and well acknowledged. Let people watch SITC and figure out how they feel about all this themselves. After all this kind of predicament/disappointment for modern women is inescapable in one way or another-not in submitting to but in deciding how you will respond to it. (AND despite their sluts in the city moniker-they somehow come off completely dignified in pursuit.)

    Empty women, sad show.

    Despite how trivial television is, and how meaningless this show is in the scheme of things, it is truly sad and depressing that women find this show entertaining. I would have expected more. The main characters are shallow, awful people who value the trivial, have nothing meaningful to say, and spend their empty lives chasing dumb men, sexual gratification, and material things. Now, I know this is a comedy. Unfortunately, it's not a black comedy. These poor souls are held up as role models. Many fans point out how their lives are so much like their own; others view SITC as presenting an unattainable ideal. It is quite sad. Anyway, avoid this stuff if you can. Don't demean yourselves by watching.

    THE BEST

    I LOVE Sex in the City. IT's my favorite show ever. I can relate to the situations the girls get themselves in. It's completly worth the money
