This unusual departure for Woody Allen is one of my favorite movies. A convoluted plot is made hilarious by Allen, John Malkovich, Lily Tomlin and Kathy Bates. Lily Tomlin's character offers a brilliant and succinct philosophy of love which (I won't spoil it by quoting) is worth the price of the movie alone. This is one of Allen's most stylish and quirky works. Highly recommended.
