    Creative workout

Shiva Rea is an inspirational teacher - the DVD is easy to follow. The DVD has a nice mix of vinyasas - some more upbeat and one lunar flow that's good for right before bed. The music is great and the settings are beautiful.

Like the other reviewer, I've had to sit out on a few moves, but this is a good thing, because the DVD is at a level accessible to all yoga practitioners, but gives you room to grow in your own practice. I've already found myself gradually building up the strength and flexibility to begin doing moves I initially had to sit out.

    I Also Recommend:

    LOVE THIS DVD!

I love this DVD - with the matrix you can throw in your favorites every workout but add a few new ones in as well.
The Spiral Flow and the Prana Flow Meditations are wonderful. Each are standing sequences that have simple movements yet warm and open the body beautifully.
It IS an advanced DVD in some senses - I am a very flexible yoga teacher and there are some positions that Shiva Rea can reach that I just chuckle and think "not for me!" But that is a huge part of yoga - know your limitations and respect them.
Her cuing for engaging the abdominals to protect the lower back is very good - I'm a stickler about that when i teach and i pay attention to which teachers keep the lower back safe.
I have given this DVD to many friends - it is wonderful.

    I Also Recommend:

    Advanced and Very Free Flowing

I really enjoy yoga DVD's but this one was a bit odd for me. It has very odd free flow dancing, which is new to me. It is also very advanced. I have been doing yoga every day for about 3 months and I have to skip most parts of this DVD. I prefer Rainbeau Mars as her DVD's are absolutely amazing. Great workouts at a good pace.
