Overview

Terror oozes from the screen in writer/director Gregory Lambertson's gruesome sequel to his 1988 cult horror classic Slime City. Seven years after a dirty bomb turns Wall Street into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Cory (Kealan Patrick Burke) and Alexa (Jennifer Bihl) seek sanctuary in a dilapidated financial district building after taking flight from the military. They thought the building had been abandoned, but they quickly discover that's not the case when they encounter Mason (Lee Perkins) and Alice (Debbie Rochon), who have been surviving in the city since the initial blast. Little do these four lost souls realize they have wandered right into the same building where malevolent cult leader Zachary Devon (Robert C. Sabin) and his "Coven of Flesh" previously committed mass suicide. Upon drinking Zachary's mysterious elixir and consuming his "Himalayan yogurt," Cory, Alexa, Mason, and Alex begin to experience a shocking transformation. Their bodies been taken over by Zachary and his disciples, and as the slime starts to flow, the fight for survival begins.

Slime City Massacre is the much anticipated sequel to "Slime City" from 1988. The world is in like post apocalyptic state after a dirty bomb. The only people left in the city are homeless or other "undesirables". So its a story about survival in terrible conditions, then mix in gallons of Slime, and you have a lot of FUN. I hate to say it but I like Slime City Massacre better then Slime City. Both are a lot of fun. Debbie Rochon is great as well as the rest of the cast. The locations used in the movie are great for creating atmosphere. There was some characters who returned from the original which was fun to see them 22 years later. They did a Great job with this film. It ties in well to the first movie and yet progress's the story further then I imagined. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of 70's-80's movies, cult movies, campy movies, and just movies in general. You will have a good time with this!
