It was a pretty good read

I thought the book was pretty good. In the beginning the book was a little confusing, but the book played it's self out. The books two main characters names are Jim and Will. A carnival comes late in the season but there is something wicked about it. The crazy illisutionist, Mr. Dark, has something wrong with him. He doesnt really seem normal. There is also the evil partner in crime, The Dust Witch. She is blind but senses thing like see can see.The Dad almost seems like he knows something that the boys dont. After the intense stand off in the libary, Mr Dark captures the boys and puts them in a trance. He sends the dust witch after the dad but thats when the dad finds out that laughter is harmful to them. He goes to the carinval show where they do the catch a bullet trick. He carves a smile in the bullet and the witch dies. Shortly after, Jim goes on the carsouel and Mr. Dark turns into a kid. They hug Mr. Dark until he dies and save Jim. The book had an exciting ending. The novel has alot of twist and turns and keeps the reader very interested.I believe that Ray Bradury has made another novel that will last throughtout the ages.

    Excellent in all catagories!

This is a true story about life and love. If you love Ray Bradbury's style of writing then this is one that is true to his art! The story of a young boy and his family living in a small town experience majic and mayhem from a traveling circus that is not all it is cracked up to be. There is so much more than meets the eye! It is a story about discovering the joys of what life has given you without regrets of what might have been as well as the strength and belief in ones self and family. You will love this story which retells Bradbury's book of the same name.
