Overview

An elegant but haunted art gallery owner works to conceal the dark truth about her father as her greedy colleagues attempt to procure a valuable cache of ancient African funerary posts containing a secret that eats away at her from the inside out. Ivy's life has always been picture perfect, yet upon inheriting her father's collection of stolen art she discovers that her father was a war criminal. Now, as Ivy tries her best to forget the past, word of her most recent procurement gets out to the art world. The poles she possesses are worth millions, and collectors are willing to lie, cheat, steal, and seduce to get them. Her reputation, career, and sanity on the line, Ivy begins to wonder how she could own poles stained with the blood of innocents, and remain free from guilt at the same time.

    An exciting and intriguing journey.

I found Souvenir very enjoyable and was blown away with the storytelling and well designed shots. The story was intriguing and I was totally drawn into the action and characters. Set in the Los Angeles art world, where stolen art has both economic and moral implications, the varied casts of characters take their positions on this timely matter. But at the same time, there is plenty of romance and passion for the story not to seem rigid. And wait for the totally unpredictable ending, which will keep you guessing until the last minute.
