Overview

Spaced, the cult favorite from the makers of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, finally arrives on DVD! Spaced revolves around two idle 20-something flatmates: immature, skateboarding, would-be comic artist Tim (Simon Pegg) and moody, responsibility-shy writer Daisy (Jessica Stevenson). The pair's self-induced lack of success in employment, relationships, and life in general drives the 14-episode arc. Together with their oddball assortment of friends and neighbors -- Marsha (Julia Deakin), Brian (Mark Heap), Mike (Nick Frost), and Twist (Katy Carmichael) -- they exist in a world perched precariously on the edge of normality. Spaced aired from 1999 to 2001 on Channel 4 in the U.K. DVD extras include commentary, featurettes, outtakes, deleted scenes, and more.

    Too Funny!

I LOVE this show! It's a shame they never continued. I loved Spaced since 2003 and have been awaiting the DVD to come out in the states! Simon Pegg is great!

    Hilarity Ensues

Truly one of the most entertaining TV shows I've watched in a while. The cast is great. Excellent characters and lots of fun recurring themes. Every episode is a lot of fun and filled with references to movies and other shows. it's a blast! Obviously anybody who enjoyed Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz will want this. And anybody else who enjoys a solid laugh.

    Brilliant!

Spaced is one of the funniest shows ever! Its pop culture references, its Gen X weirdness, its quirky, unexpected little jokes, all go by so fast and so furious that it warrants viewing after viewing. This show is always funny! Buy it! Season Two's Episode 5 (Gone) is one of the most amazingly silly and smart things I've ever seen. The only bad thing about this show is that it only lasted two seasons. And British seasons are very short.
