    Spain-On The Road Again, Next Best Thing To Being There

    I enjoyed watching the series on t.v. What I didn't realize was it's on DVD and I could buy it and watch it whenever I wanted. Gwen, Mario and Friends were outstanding! They are so real, fun and relaxed! They make you feel as if you want to be right there with them enjoying the travel and sites they visited, the delicious food, they tasted, and cheers, they drank!! The people they met while driving through Spain were so friendly and informative. My hushand and I have made it a goal, we are going to visit Spain but before we go, we'll just look at the DVDs, take notes so we won't miss a thing.

    On the Road Again

    The chemistry between Gwyneth, Mario, Claudia and Bitman is amazing. They make you feel like you are there with them in Spain. Taking you on a culinary exploration with the occasional stop for a bit of history and site seeing.

    Great Companion To DVD

    I watched the series on PBS (Fall 08). It was informative but I had questions and having the book meant I could do some more research. Great entertainment if you like to travel or see different places. Also better than what is on TV these days. I bought the set as a gift and have had friends over to watch an episode or 2. Have a drink every time they say "AMAZING!" Claudia is the link that brings it all together.

    Spain..On The Road Again

    This DVD was very entertaining. Not only did you feel like you were on vacation with Mario Batali and Gwyneth Paltrow and their friends but your mouth watered with the amazing foods. The DVD was akin to watching home movies with a little added flair. The countryside of Spain was absolutely beautiful and our hosts were rich in history. I loved the drives from town to town where you not only saw the beautiful countryside but you also felt the true relationship among the four hosts. They were witty and charming and I want them as friends!!

    It's a Great Travelogue for Foodies!

    I've been watching the episodes of Spain on the Road Again on PBS since the fall and what a scenic,charming and informative trip it is!<BR/>There is much humor and comradeship among the four stars,especially between Gwyneth and Mario,who apparently have been good buddies prior.<BR/>The viewer can vicariously dine in Spain"s best restaurants and tour many scenic and historic sites.<BR/>Mario frequently does some al fresco cooking along the way and his knowledege of the country,its history and the language is impressive.Both Gwyneth and Mario had spent some time in Spain when they were younger and they and Claudia are totally fluent in the language.<BR/>I would highly recommend this program....quite the joyous experience!
